Wild Horse Pass in Chandler will open rooftop restaurant and new tower in November
PHOENIX – Diners at a Phoenix-area casino will soon have stunning views of their surroundings when a rooftop restaurant opens later in the fall.
Gila River Hotels & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass has stated that Prime, a Steak House from Shula, will serve its first meals in November in a new 11-story tower.
An exact date was not announced in a press release on Tuesday.
The second tower and restaurant are part of a $ 143 million expansion project on the site near Interstate 10 and Pecos Road in Chandler.
Upgrades also include 205 guest rooms, poolside suites, cabanas, and a 21-plus pool.
The restaurant’s decor will focus on neutral earth tones with leather accents and stone tabletops, Gila River Gaming Enterprises said.
“We have found the perfect synergy between catering and destination,” said Kenneth Manuel, CEO of Gila River Hotels and Casinos, in the statement.
Once the dinner service is over, the restaurant will transform into a night spot, 11ven in Prime.
The casino will also get a facelift, with new colors, different carpet and new lighting. Convention space will increase by 18,000 square feet indoors.
Wild Horse Pass Casino opened in 2009; the ground was laid on the expansion, its first, in 2020.
