The Japanese restaurant on 12/10 reopens for two nights only

Makati’s modern izakaya, which closed last year, is hosting an 11-course pop-up dinner at another Japanese restaurant in December

The modern izakaya of Makati City 12/10 is back! Unfortunately, the resurrection of the resto-pub will only be for two nights, but we’ll take it.

The jewel of fine Japanese fusion will host an 11-course pop-up dinner on December 7-14 at Japanese Restaurant Kazunori, located along the extension of Chino Roces Avenue. The 11-course omakase will include “the staples of 12/10, as well as some fresh new dishes, alcohol included”. Drink pairings will also be available.

The flat menu, which will be released on Sunday, November 28, costs P 5,500 per person. According to 12/10, customers can expect a “progression in seafood and vegetables that includes sashimi, meat, eggs, dairy, soy, nuts and gluten.” The drink arrangement includes a ‘welcome highball and a flight of sake and wine’.

“We miss you guys and felt all the love. Thanks to everyone who encouraged us to reopen and while this is still in progress we will be recreating the 12/10 experience in one of the Japanese joints. most credible traditional in town, ”12/10 wrote on Instagram.

Customers can book their slots from Sunday, November 28 at 8 p.m. via a link on the Instagram of 10/12. A reservation deposit of P 1500 will be required per person and will be deducted from the total bill after dinner.

Due to security protocols, dinners will be spread over different time slots of two hours each, from 5:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Kazunori has a security seal, which means all employees are fully immunized. Customers must present their vaccination record at the entrance. The restaurant and sushi bar are located in the Mazda Makati building, 2301 Chino Roces Avenue Extension, Makati City.

The 12/10 closed its doors to the public for “hibernation” on October 31, 2020, after six years of activity. The modern izakaya along Guiro Street in Makati City said they would see their customers again “in a different, hopefully much better form, sooner than [they’ll] opinion.” –
