It’s scheduled to be another fabulous weekend here in sunny Sarasota-Manatee, and we have a bunch of great events happening Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But first, let’s take a look at the most popular stories among subscribers over the past seven days.
Top of the list is the news we announced about Sarasota’s first dog bar, set to open this summer in the Rosemary District. In addition to a full assortment of adult beverages, it will offer a full menu of dog and human food.
The Rosemary District, located just north of downtown Sarasota, is also where we went for our latest edition of Best Things to Eat to spotlight a counter service outlet that excels in elevated comfort foods. . Additionally, this week’s restaurant review column includes an Anna Maria Island destination that specializes in seafood bought every morning from the nearby docks in the commercial fishing village of Cortez.
