Equipped with a 10 gallon brewing system, he made an assortment of microbreweries and distributed them to local businesses and faucets. . People loved Mark’s beer and demand has skyrocketed.
In response to the growing popularity of beer, a group of partners joined in and purchased a new building and RV park adjacent to Wallace in 2010 to accommodate the growth of the business. Run by his partner Don Hoffman, the building underwent a renovation and opened under its new name, City Limits Pub. In addition to installing a kitchen and 217 gallon brewing system, new bathrooms and log cabins were added to the adjacent RV park. The business officially changed its name to City Limits Brew Pub in 2015 and has grown into a thriving restaurant, pub and attraction for thousands of locals and visitors each year.
In addition to providing guests with quality food, beer, and accommodations, City Limits hosts several events for the Wallace community, including an Oktoberfest celebration and the biennial Welcome Back to Summer Town BBQ, where businesses locals present their upcoming summer events. The company also supports local community causes and has contributed to several charities over the years.
“City Limits Brew Pub is a great example of what it means to start a small business from scratch,” said Risch. “What started as a man’s passion has grown into a successful restaurant and brewery serving customers and the community.
“, Risch continued. “You are the pride of our great state and I look forward to your continued growth and success. “
