Heritage Hills seniors to graduate on Saturday

LINCOLN CITY – The class of 2021 at Heritage Hills High School will graduate Saturday at 4 p.m. ET at the Lincoln Amphitheater.

The launch ceremony will be a paid, limited-capacity event, but there will be a free live broadcast for those who cannot attend.

The majors of the class are Nevah Barnett, Emily Patmore and Kyla Peter. The Salvator is Kenley Mulzer.

Nevah Barnett

Nevah Barnett

Nevah is the daughter of Santa’s Jason and Sarah (Weber) Barnett.

She has competed in the Riley’s Dance Marathon, Student Council, Beta Club, Christian Athlete Community, and Feed My Starving Children.

She has received the Heritage Hills Patriot Award, the Mental Attitude Award for basketball two years in a row, the Captain’s Award for volleyball two years in a row, the Patriot Award for volleyball and the Spanish II Award. . She received the Presidential Fellowship from the University of Southern Indiana and the Othmar and Virginia Ringeman Family Fellowship from the Spencer County Community Foundation.

Nevah will go to the University of Southern Indiana to study nursing as a member of the USI Honors program.

Emilie Patmore

Emily is the daughter of Jodi Tornatta-Patmore and Kevin Patmore of Santa Claus. She participated in college tennis; Beta club; Student Council; Academic bowl in social sciences, mathematics and interdisciplinary; and was a junior counselor at the Santa Claus United Methodist Church Camp.

She received the Rising Star of Indiana Award, was in the top 10% of her class, served as class president for two years and received third place as a Spanish contender at the Beta State Convention.

She has also received the Lilly Endowment Community Runner-Up Fellowship, the Memorial Hospital Foundation Fellowship, and the LifeSpring Foundation of Indiana Fellowship. Emily will go to Butler University to study health sciences on the way to pre-medical school.

Kyla stone

Kyla is the daughter of Darrell and Lynn (Meunier) Peter of Lamar.

She has competed in softball and volleyball, Beta Club, Natural Helpers, 4-H and Indiana Gators Fastpitch softball.

She received the Indiana Rising Star Award, was a member of 4-H for 10 years, was in the top 10% of her class, and was a member of the All-State Academic Team for volleyball.

She has been awarded the Luddy Scholar Fellowship from Indiana University, the IU Luddy Direct Admit Fellowship, the IU Kirk Fellowship, the IU Provost Fellowship, and the Gene and Christina Schwindel Fellowship. Kyla will go to Indiana University to study data science.

Kenley mulzer

Kenley is the daughter of Santa’s Ken and DeNae (Bouse) Mulzer.

She has been involved in soccer, FCA, serving the rooted youth of the United Methodist Church of Santa Claus, the Beta Club and the youth group of the United Methodist Church of Santa Claus.

She has received the following awards: Top 10% Academic All-State in Soccer, Academic All-Conference in Soccer, Patriot Award in Soccer, and Invite Grow Serve Award through the United Methodist Church of Santa Claus.

She also received the Academic Merit Scholarship and will be a Border State Scholar through Western Kentucky University.

Kenley will go to Western Kentucky University to study Biology and Spanish as a member of Mahurin Honors College.
