Frying Pan opens new brick-and-mortar outlet in the West End

If you’ve ever been on the lookout for delicious street food in Gastown, chances are you’ve tasted the mouth-watering flavors of Frying Pan’s beloved food truck. And if not, now is your chance to taste their dishes in a new setting.

Chef and owner Jacob Jung and co-owner Sunny Jung are celebrating their food truck’s fifth anniversary by bringing their signature style of Korean cuisine to a brand new brick-and-mortar location at 1101 Denman Street. The best of all? The new restaurant opens to the public the Saturday September 24 – and the first 100 guests can get the Classic Sando for just $5!

The new space will offer customers a range of tasty options for dining, pickup and delivery. From classic favorites like Hot Chicken Tacos to new Korean-inspired dishes like Pa Dak Sando (chicken, soy sauce, homemade mayonnaise, pickle, coleslaw, green onion, chili powder, and bun) or Veggie Sando (vegan patty, vegan mayonnaise, pickles and coleslaw), the only problem you will have is choosing.

“We are delighted to have found a new home for Frying Pan in the West End and can’t wait to introduce ourselves to the neighbors,” says Sunny Jung.
