Calgary’s Blanco Cantina has just opened its first restaurant in Edmonton
Known for its tequila-based cocktails and authentic menu, Calgary restaurant Blanco Cantina is a summer hotspot, but this season Edmonton can have some fun – without having to go on a road trip!
As announced on their Instagram, the popular taco spot has officially opened and you’re going to want to check it out as soon as possible.
Here, the decor is bright, the staff is lively and the menu is plentiful, but don’t be intimidated! There is literally something for everyone.

This Alberta campground has a scenic waterfall where you can swim, fish and picnic
From margaritas and tacos to tapas and street corn, Blancos is described as your “fiesta HQ.”
If you’re interested in checking it out, head to the South Edmonton Commons where Milestones once was and enjoy daily specials (like their iconic half-hour) of frozen sips and their A+ guac with friends and family.
They’ll be open 7 days a week from 11 p.m. to 10 p.m. — though we recommend going between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. or after 9 p.m. for $3 tacos and a discounted tequila.
